In a press release sent on Monday morning, Chicago the Musical said it is welcoming Whitney Leavitt, who is making her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart.
You can catch the Mormon Wives star in her Broadway debut starting February 2 and through March 15 of 2026.
The Mormon Wives star was a semi-finalist on the dancing competition and was angling for the Chicago spot in social media posts in recent months.
Earlier this month, Chicago the Musical reshared Whitney’s tango performance on DWTS.
A fan wrote, “Whitney Leavitt as Roxie when???,” to which the star replied, “Consider this my informal audition.”
Eagle-eyed fans also noticed that the reality star was posting a video in which she appeared to be rehearsing from the W Hotel in Times Square and captioned the snap “Wish me luck.”
Fans of the show will recall Whitney’s fierce determination to get the best gigs out of her MomTok connections, and that determination has clearly paid off, landing her first the DTWS spot and now her Broadway debut.
Whitney caught Mormon Wives fan backlash for her blunt admittance that she was only on the show to angle for a spot on DWTS.
As The U.S. Sun exclusively reported, Whitney blamed Mormon Wives’ producers for her shock elimination from the dancing competition.
The role of Roxie Hart has been played by a slew of famous faces, including Vanderpump Rules star Arianna Madix and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Erika Jayne.
WHITNEY’S NEW HOME
As The U.S. Sun previously exclusively revealed, Whitney and her husband, Conner, 31, purchased a stunning four-bedroom, four-bathroom home on for nearly $1 million earlier this year.
The home, which was purchased on April 25, 2025, spans over 2,800 square feet and sits on a nearly half-acre plot.
Whitney’s impressive new residence features space for RV parking, a huge swimming pool complete with a slide, fire pits, a hot tub, and a covered patio area.
The home is located in Washington, a wealthy community near the city of St. George.
RISE TO FAME
Whitney was a MomTok influencer based in Utah before she was cast in the first season of Mormon Wives in 2024.
Although she initially chose to depart before the Hulu reality series’ third season, Whitney reversed her decision and came back so she could pursue an opportunity to appear on Dancing With the Stars.
She was a leading contender on the most recent season of the ABC dance competition but was eliminated during the semi-finals on November 18.
Sources recently informed The U.S. Sun that the ratings for Mormon Wives are so strong that they exceed those of the long-running show The Kardashians on the same streaming service.
“The Mormon Wives team has essentially superseded The Kardashians in terms of priority at Hulu,” the source stated.
“The executives currently view Mormon Wives with higher regard and have made it clear it’s their primary focus for unscripted programming. Basically, if a Mormon Wives cast member makes a request, now is the ideal time for them to do it.”
Conner has mentioned that he works remotely for a hedge fund headquartered in Dubai.
He is also active on TikTok with 240,000 followers, though this number is still much smaller compared to Whitney’s 3.1 million.
