Travis Turner and wife Leslie

Travis Turner’s wife has asked for prayers while his whereabouts remain unknown.

Leslie Caudill Turner, the wife of missing Virginia high school football coach Travis Turner, has broken her silence on his disappearance, asking for prayers for her missing husband.

Turner, 46, is the head coach at Union High School and has been missing since last week. Virginia State police confirmed that a search involving multiple law enforcement agencies is ongoing.

State police were on their way to Turner’s home last Thursday to speak to him as part of an investigation, but learned that he was not there. It’s said that he was last seen entering the woods near his home, wearing a gray sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and glasses.

His absence on the day raised concerns about his health and well-being, as his team was preparing for a playoff game.

Turner’s Bears are undefeated this season.

The coach’s wife took to Facebook on Saturday, confirming he was missing and asking folks to keep praying until he returns.

“I just wanted to get on here for a second to clear up something, as of right now, 10:25 PM on Friday night, Travis is missing, & that’s all we know,” she wrote (H/T Daily Mail).

“We love him & need him here with us. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love & support. It means more than you know. Just keep praying that he comes home,” she added.

The authorities have made it clear that they were not looking to arrest Turner.

“We have had the drones up in the air looking, searching,” Virginia State policeman Jason Day told WJHL.

Day revealed that K-9 units were deployed, but they were unable to get helicopters in the air on Saturday due to inclement weather.

Meanwhile, Wise County school officials disclosed that they had sent an unidentified employee on leave as part of an external investigation.

Collins, who has been with CBS Sports since 2018, recently posted a workout video on Instagram that quickly went viral. The clip features her at The Tox in Nashville, where she took on the intense 60-minute Master Tox class. Dressed in a stylish all-blue fitness outfit, Collins powered through the session, showing off her dedication and athleticism.

It’s been a long time since she’s been on NFL sidelines, working alongside play-by-play voice Kevin Harlan and analyst Trent Green. Before that, she cut her teeth covering college football and basketball on CBS Sports Network. She’s also spent time on ESPN, filling in for SportsNation and First Take.

But Collins isn’t just a familiar face on Sundays. Her resume includes the Winter Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl, NBA Finals, World Series, you name it. She was also the face of Yahoo! Sports and hosted a few shows on the Golf Channel along the way.

This September, she’s set to open the season on the West Coast, covering the Houston Texans vs. Los Angeles Rams matchup. In Week 2, she’ll be reporting from the sidelines again, this time for the Denver Broncos vs. Indianapolis Colts game.

Collins knows how to get more attention each season. As she’s ready, fit, focused, and already trending, it seems that it will be a bit easier for her this time.
