Caitlin Clark Took Over After Brittney Griner Said THIS…

The WNBA appears to have made a decision on Brittney Griner’s apparent comment on Caitlin Clark.

Griner went viral for appearing to talk some trash about Clark during the Atlanta Dream vs. Indiana Fever game earlier this year. The Dream topped the Fever in a close one, 91-90. However, during the game, Griner, who signed with the Dream this offseason, made headlines for her apparent comment on Clark.

Some on social media thought that Griner said “trash f—— white girl” while sitting on the bench during the middle of the game.

However, it’s unclear if that’s actually what Griner said. Some argued that Griner could’ve said “trash f—— whack call.”

Meanwhile, some have been calling for the WNBA to punish Griner for the incident. It doesn’t sound like that will be happening, though.

The WNBA has yet to publicly address the comment. It’s been a couple of weeks, so it probably means that nothing is going to come of it.

From the report:

It has been over a week since Brittney Griner appeared to utter “trash f—– white girl” from the bench after she fouled out of a matchup against the Indiana Fever.

Despite the clip trending on social media for nearly 36 hours, the WNBA has refused to provide a comment, let alone launch an investigation. If that sounds dramatic, understand that the league launched a “no space for hate” campaign before the start of the season, declaring zero tolerance for racism.

OutKick sent several requests for comment to the league, asking why it chose not to treat Griner’s comments with the same level of seriousness as previous incidents in which its black players were allegedly targets of racism.

X/WNBA.

It seems like this is something that people might care about on social media, but clearly, it doesn’t sound like the WNBA will be making any kind of announcements regarding it.
