Angel Reese and Caleb Williams have a lot in common.
Both athletes play for a Chicago franchise and gave hope to a fan base that great things would soon come. They also get their nails done by the same person.
Reese, the top draft pick of the WNBA’s Chicago Sky, stated last year that Williams was her “dog and one of her best friends.”
During Monday Night Football, Willias wanted to send a message to the millions of people watching the game as he went against the Vikings, so he enlisted the help of Angel Reese.
Caleb Williams explained last year that he loves to go to the nail salon, so he went to another one and painted them with the suicide prevention logo and colors on his throwing hand. His left hand displayed the numbers “988,” which is the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
September is suicide prevention awareness month.
It didn’t take long before the post made its way to Chicago Sky star Angel Reese.

The disgruntled Sky star took to social media to voice her support for Williams while also revealing that her nail tech was the one who did the job.
“Love this. My nail tech really wanted to do his nails & she KILLED it! So proud!” Reese wrote on X.

Caleb Williams started his 2025 season opener by completing his first ten passes and ending his first drive with a touchdown. The 10 completions to start the game were the longest streak by a Bears quarterback to start a season since 1978.
After that, things slowly started falling apart. At halftime, Williams was 13-for-16 passing, with a completion percentage of 81.2.
After the second quarter, Caleb Williams fell off a cliff. He completed just 8 of 19 passes for 42.1 percent.
Chicago fell to Minnesota 27-24 after allowing JJ McCarthy to toss two touchdowns and run fr another one.
Williams finished 21-35 for 210 yards and a touchdown. He also added 58 yards on the ground.
Nothing gets easier in Week Two as they get ready to face the 0-1 Lions. The Bears are looking for their first winning season since 2018 and first playoff win since 2010.
