Caitlin Clark mentioned ‘excited to be back out there with you’, wishing Aliyah Boston on her birthday.

The Indiana Fever put up an excellent performance in the 2025 season, reaching the semi-final of the WNBA title, even without Caitlin Clark. HC Stephanie White hinted at even greater achievement had CC been available for the games.

White names Aliyah Boston among the most impacted amid Clark’s absence, not only for their on-court chemistry, but off-court bonding as well.

While the duo’s pre-game ritual is very famous, the playmaker recently shared a post showering love on Boston and also wishing her Happy Birthday.

Caitlin Clark Wishes Aliyah Boston On Her Birthday

Aliyah Boston might not have liked pairing with CC in the early days at the Indiana Fever, but now the duo is inseparable. Leading the team to the playoffs in 2024 (after eight years) and winning the Commissioners’ Cup title, CC and AB played a vital role in the team’s recent success.

Now, on December 11, Boston celebrated her 24th birthday, and Clark was one of the early wishers for the talented forward. In her story, CC wrote, “Happy Birthday, Love You @aliyah.boston.” And added “Happy to be back out there with ya.”

The former Iowa star and Boston will team up for Team USA to play in the World Cup qualifiers before the start of the 2026 season. The AB-CC pairing is one of the most lethal guard-forward duos in the league, with both players skilled to control the game.

But this love is not from 2024, the year Clark joined hands with Boston. The playmaker lauded her forward even when she was on the opposite team in her college years.

The Fever team also has a massive advantage in free agency with the trio of rookies – Aliyah Boston, Clark, and Mikayala Timpson making them an intriguing destination. But even before playing together, CC and Boston shared mutual respect for each other as the former Iowa star’s heart-warming gesture suggests her admiration for the 24-year-old forward.

In 2022, Boston and Clark were competing for the Naismith Player of the Year accolade, with the South Carolina star edging out the guard in the final phase. Yet, Caitlin Clark attended the ceremony celebrating AB’s achievement. Recently, she opened up about her actions.

Clark said, “I want to respect and honor people that help our game be tremendous. And I think Aliyah is one of those. And obviously, coach Staley was Naismith Coach of the Year, as well, and I’ve had the honor of receiving the Dawn Staley Guard of the Year two times, so being able to honor her too, who has done so much for our game, was special. But at the end of the day, that’s not the reason why you play, to win awards.”

The duo will be key to the Fever’s success. Also, Clark and Boston give the Indiana Fever a major advantage in free agency, attracting the top-quality players and indirectly shaping the future of the franchise.
