Cam Newton wanted his girlfriend, Jasmin Brown, to give him a list of her s3xual partners, and he had a good reason to do so.

Newton is known for his flair on the field, and since diving into the world of podcasting, he has kept it up as he continues to entertain fans off the field.

His most recent subject captured the attention of the internet.

The former Carolina Panthers legend revealed that before he started dating his girlfriend, Jasmin Brown, he asked her for a list of all her previous partners.

Cam Newton, who once said he never went to strip clubs for women, would explain that the request wasn’t about judgment but clarity and trust going forward in the relationship.

During the Oct. 3 episode, the former NFL MVP said he simply wanted to avoid unnecessary awkwardness or embarrassment in the future. “I needed to know. I have to know,” he told Posey.

“I wanna know because before I sit up here and really keep moving and elevating our relationship, I wanna know who got one up on me, and if I’m willing to take on that burden. … If you had any type of relationship, intimacy, experiences with people that I really know—I need to know that. I’m owed that.”
