Los Angeles Sparks forward Cameron Brink kicked off 2026 by celebrating her 24th bithday.

Brink missed a good portion of the 2025 WNBA season due to a torn ACL. Once the Stanford product returned to the hardwood, she averaged 5.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game for the Aces.

Prior to the start of Brink’s sophomore season, she made headlines because she posed for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. She was part of a rookie class that included Nelly Korda, Suni Lee and Gabby Thomas.

“I think it’s always really hard to be a woman in this world, but especially a female athlete,” Brink told SI Swimsuit. “Am I supposed to look more feminine? Am I supposed to look more athletic? What’s the balance? What do people think?

“My femininity—I hold that very close to my self-image, so it’s definitely gone back and forth. I think every female athlete’s had a really rough go with body image. But I’m definitely glad I’ve gotten to a really good place, and I’m able to do stuff like this with SI Swimsuit. It’s just very empowering, so I hope everyone can get to a point like this.”

In honor of Brink’s 24th birthday this week, SI Swimsuit shared a photo from her rookie shoot.

“The WNBA player is celebrating her birthday today, so we’re highlighting one of our favorite suits from her photo shoot at The Boca Raton,” SI Swimsuit wrote.

Brink will be back on the court soon.

Although the 2026 WNBA season isn’t set to begin until May, fans will get to see Brink in Unrivaled, a three-on-three league founded by Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart.

It was recently announced that Brink will team up with Paige Bueckers on Breeze BC.

“I haven’t played with Cam since we were like 17 years old,” Bueckers said. “We’ve always supported each other, and we’ve always talked about being teammates in the future…I’ve always enjoyed being with Cam and all that she does on the basketball court & who she is as a human.”

Breeze BC will begin its 2026 season on Jan. 5 against Phantom.
