Cameron Brink shared a positive recovery update three months after her facial injury, confirming a broken nose, face mask, Sparks, Unrivaled season, and wedding caution.
Cameron Brink made a return to the Los Angeles Sparks’ squad after a long injury absence. Immediately, WNBA analyst Sarah Spain predicted a better future for the Sparks following Brink’s return. Now, coming back after so many days, surely made everyone think that the Sparks’ star would be rusty.
But in reality, it was quite the opposite. Dominating the field right away, Brink matched the records of Candace Parker and Lisa Leslie. Unfortunately, her strong return came to a screeching halt when the Sparks’ star suffered another injury. Back in September, as the Sparks took on the Las Vegas Aces, Brink broke her nose, following a brutal elbow from NaLyssa Smith.
Now, after three months of the incident, Brink shared an update on her injury. And thankfully for her fans, the update was pretty upbeat.

Cameron Brink Is Recovering From Her Brutal Face Injury
Following the clash with Smith, Brink could be seen leaving with a bloodied face. Seemingly in writhing pain, the Spark’s star had to leave the match. After careful scrutiny of her injury, Brink had to unfortunately miss the rest of the season.
Thankfully, at the moment, Brink is having some good news to deliver to her fans. All set to play in her second season of Unrivaled, the WNBA star pointed out that she will be wearing a custom face mask to protect her face from further damage.
Uploading the video of her getting the face mask, Brink wrote, “I will be in this mask for a year- not risking breaking my nose again before my wedding!!!!!”
Surely, before getting injured, Brink showed a lot of promise. She appeared in 19 games and averaged 5.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks. Meanwhile, speaking about the league’s expansion, Brink recently shared an honest take.
Cameron Brink Wants To Humanize WNBA Athletes
In recent times, fake and misrepresented quotes of the athletes have been doing the rounds significantly. Thus, when asked about how the media could play a role in the WNBA’s expansion, Brink had her answer ready.

Calling her media friends to humanize the athletes, the Sparks’ star said, “That’s a great question. I don’t know, just continue to be honest, and you know, just having good intentions, just, you know, taking our word for what it is at face value. You know, just growing, the league that’s a great question, though. I think you guys are doing a great job,” said Brink.
Thus, with Brink looking positive, fans are now eager to see how she copes with her injury in the long run.
