Carmelo Anthony’s ex-wife, La La Anthony, seems excited for son Kiyan Anthony’s podcast interview with WNBA star Angel Reese. The podcast will be released on Thursday across all streaming platforms. The duo seems hyped, too, about this collaboration. Reese uploaded a TikTok video of them shaking a leg to FendiDa Rappa and Shamar Marco’s hit, “Clock Dat.”

La La and Angel seem to share a close friendship. They are often showing love to each other on social media. Angel even gifted Kiyan’s mother a pair of her Reebok sneakers in September when her signature shoe line launched with the billion-dollar company.

It will be exciting for La La Anthony to see her son Kiyan Anthony catch up with Angel Reese on her podcast. Angel’s show has 72.1k subscribers. She has interviewed legends like Shaquille O’Neal, Dwyane Wade and Sheryl Swoopes on it, among others.

Reese’s podcast has faced plenty of backlash since it was released. From her choices of guests to the themes they have spoken about, Reese has been in the news for many controversies.

One of the most common complaints against her podcast has been about Caitlin Clark-themed topics, and her going at the Fever star’s fanbase created quite a stir. She also invited some of Clark’s critics and rivals, like Sheryl Swoopes and DiJonai Carrington, on the show.

 

Reese’s podcast was under scrutiny again after Shaquille O’Neal’s questionable remarks went viral.

“Imagine you in those same little shorts you had on at the Wild ‘n Out show dunking. You know how many t-shirt you’re going to sell,” said O’Neal.

Amid all the negative attention the podcast has received, inviting Kiyan Anthony could be a great move for Angel Reese’s podcast. Kiyan is an up-and-coming four-star recruit and a consensus 2025 top-30 prospect.
