The Masked Singer season 14 premiered on January 7, 2026, with a fresh lineup of celebrities, each vying to take home the Golden Mask trophy. Among them was one wearing the mask of Cat Witch.

On December 10, 2025, Kylie took to social media to disclose the news of her participation to her fans, saying:

“No, this is not a joke. For literally the first time ever, I’m gonna be bringing you guys in on the entire process as I bring you behind the scenes. I’ll be working for [the viewers] and sharing my strategy to throw off Nick, Robin, Jenny, Ken, and my onscreen mom, Rita.”

Kylie is known for playing the role of Rita Ora’s daughter, Red, in Descendants: The Rise of Red and Descendants: Wicked Wonderland.

In the announcement video, Kylie shared that the twist was the “biggest secret ever,” and no one on the show knew it was happening.

She further mentioned that she would spill “some tea” and post updates on her page, urging fans to stay tuned.

During the season 14 premiere of The Masked Singer, Kylie wowed the panelists with her rendition of Lady Gaga’s Abracadabra.

Despite the clues, the judges struggled to come up with the right guess. Their guesses included names such as Charli D’Amelio, Addison Rae, and even Lisa from Blackpink.

The clues and hints the panelists were presented with all directed the panelists towards Kylie’s social media presence and her rise from a Disney Channel star to a pop icon.

As part of the hints, Kylie revealed that she created a future for herself, which included merchandise, tours, and more from a young age.

It was a direct reference to her singing and dancing career, avenues as a performer that she started on.

Additionally, for the visual hints, Kylie was shown with a makeup compact, which directed the panelists to her social media presence, where she shares lifestyle and makeup-related content.

While sharing her audio clue, she said:

“I’m not used to being anonymous, but I’m thrilled to toy with you! Ever since I was a kitten, I’ve longed for the stage. I brewed myself a future – a dash of thyme, a little sage – merch, tours, albums! All that and more came from my cauldrons – and I’m living for it!”

She added that she was ready to “shed” her image of a “kitten” and step into a more mature side, which can be read as a reference to her character Red in Descendants: The Rise of Red.

As for the visual clues, The Masked Singer panelists were shown a skull and crossbones, a makeup compact, a white tiger, and a grape soda pop.

Kylie managed to survive elimination in the premiere of The Masked Singer. Fans will now have to tune in next week to see how she fares.
