The Dallas Cowboys said they would explore all options to upgrade the wide receiver position, and on Wednesday, it was reported they landed George Pickens after agreeing to a trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

CeeDee Lamb appeared to know the Dallas Cowboys’ trade was coming. The star wideout posted a tweet on X (formerly Twitter) early on Wednesday morning before news broke of the reported Pickens trade.

While news of the trade broke early Wednesday morning, many fans were already speculating that something was in the works thanks to Lamb.

The team’s No. 1 wide receiver shared a cryptic tweet late Tuesday night of a GIF of Ralph from “The Simpsons” waving hello.

Lamb had to do a lot of the heavy lifting in Dallas last season, so adding George Pickens will certainly take the pressure off of him and create easier opportunities.

Pickens, a second-round pick from Georgia in 2022, has 174 receptions for 2,841 yards and 12 touchdowns in three seasons.

He also has never had a quarterback of the caliber of Dak Prescott or a receiver such as Lamb to take pressure off him.

Things could get really frightening for opposing defenses trying to shut both of them down.

Will George Pickens Change His Behavior In Dallas?

The Dallas Cowboys made a major splash by acquiring wide receiver George Pickens from the Pittsburgh Steelers on Wednesday morning.

With the Steelers set to start either Mason Rudolph or Will Howard, this move will likely benefit Pickens as much as the Cowboys.

Now, the biggest question remains whether Pickens can change his behavior when things do not go his way.

If he remains focused, the sky is the limit. If he doesn’t, the Cowboys will implode.
