Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark attended the Annika Pro-Am on Wednesday and brought along Fever guards Lexie Hull and Sophie Cunningham to caddie for her.

Both Cunningham and Hull donned Fever-themed caddie gear ahead of the event.

All three women even took some swings before the real action got underway. Cunningham made her the most memorable as she seemingly struck fans, who then purposely fell to the ground in order to get some hugs from the Fever star.

Not everything was a happy moment.

Man Claiming To Be Sophie Cunningham’s Boyfriend Gets Kicked Out

Sophie Cunningham is very much single. The closest she has come to being attached to a man was a bombshell lawsuit that accused Suns CEO Josh Bartelstein of an improper sexual relationship with her as part of a broader claim of racial discrimination and retaliatory demotion.

Suns executive Dan Craig allegedly told others that Bartelstein was romantically involved with Cunningham.

On Wednesday, she seemingly discovered that she was in another unknown relationship with a man who could’ve been her father.

According to The Daily Mail, an elderly man, who was said to be in his 70s, had to be forced off the golf course during Caitlin Clark’s LPGA Pro-Am appearance on Wednesday after he harassed her WNBA teammate, Sophie Cunningham.

The man repeatedly tried to capture Cunningham’s attention by calling out to her by using her nickname, ‘Soph,’ per the publication. The Fever guard continued to ignore him before she got pulled aside by a member of the team accompanying the group.

The publication stated that Cunningham had a worried look on her face as law enforcement eventually intervened.

A police officer reportedly stopped the gentleman, scanned his license, and took a picture to identify him. The confused man could not understand why he needed to do such things because he was Cunningham’s ‘boyfriend.’

The older gentleman was told that it wasn’t likely to be true, to which the man showed social media messages proving otherwise. Unfortunately, the cop broke the news that he was being scammed.

The older man also revealed that he had given his ‘girlfriend’ almost $2,000 in gift cards, thinking that it was Sophie Cunningham. Despite being told that it wasn’t the Fever guard, he still demanded to speak with her so she could clarify the situation.

A sheriff’s golf cart would soon arrive and escort the man off the course. ‘So, what? You’re going to eject me for speaking to my girlfriend?’ he asked.

Despite being told otherwise, the older man still clung to the fabricated relationship as he complied and clambered onto the cart, saying: ‘If I could just speak to her…’

Hopefully, a family member can change his mind before he sends more things to a scam account.
