Deion Sanders Just Dropped A Truth Bomb On What Cleveland Browns Fans Feared Most About Shedeur SandersDeion Sanders with Shedeur Sanders (Kirby Lee-Imagn Images)
Shedeur Sanders, son of Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, finally got drafted.

The 23-year-old, who quarterbacked under his father at the University of Colorado, had been expected to be drafted during the first round, but something happened behind the scenes that tanked his stock.

Sanders was also surprisingly passed over by teams for the second and third rounds. Finally, on Saturday, he was selected by the Cleveland Browns during the fifth round as the No. 144 pick.

The Browns are an interesting landing spot for more reasons than one. Not only did Cleveland pass on Sanders multiple times, but actually selected another quarterback in Oregon’s Dillon Gabriel in the third round.

Over the past few months, Deion Sanders has let everyone know that Shedeur Sanders would be a top pick. Unfortunately for him, that did not happen.

Depending on who you ask, Shedeur is either confident or cocky, but he is talented. He also possesses the same type of mouth that his father had in the league and continues to show today.

As his son fell into the draft, Deion made it clear that the situation was crazy.

“This ain’t the work of God, this the Devil!” he said on camera.

Deion previously disses the franchise as somewhere nobody want togo, and now his son is on his way there.

Multiple reports pointed to Shedeur Sanders’ questionable pre-draft interviews as to why he fell. Sanders did not throw at the NFL Scouting Combine, electing to work out at his own showcase weeks before the draft.

Whatever the case, Sheduer will have to put in a ton of work to work his way up the depth chart.

The Cleveland Browns were a dumpster fire in 2024.

Deshaun Watson was not good before he suffered a season-ending injury. The fan base even cheered as he was carted off the field.

The front office has made it known that they made a mistake trading for him, and now he may never play another down.

Now, the team has drafted Shedeur Sanders, who is going to bring about so much attention that the team is not going to need.
