Marisol Olmedo at soccer game

Definitely her club’s most popular supporter

A female soccer fan hailing from Paraguay has gone viral online for her outfit while in the stands at a game.

The fan, who’s been identified as Marisol Olmedo, is a Club Guarani supporter in her country. Known as “La Madrina” (The Godmother) of said club, she has gained popularity for her passionate backing.

La Madrina was also one of the nicknames given to former cocaine Queen Griselda Blanco.

As for Mariso, she’s frequently seen at outings and trended after a recent appearance.

Peep the video below, and you’ll see why.

There’s no way she wouldn’t go viral after that. Moreover, she can expect some additional followers after this particular clip drew hits. But she’s already up to 1.3 million on Instagram.

Here’s a photo of her at another game:

Club Guarani is one of the oldest and most storied in Paraguay. Founded in 1903, the club represents Guarani culture while proudly carrying the name.

It was established in the Pinoza neighborhood of Asunción and, since then, has been a cornerstone of Paraguayan football. Juan Patri served as its first president.

The club has never been relegated from the Primera Division, unlike many of its rivals, while shaping the nation’s sporting identity alongside outfits such as Olimpia and Cerro Porteno.

Club Guarani plays its home games at the Estadio Regelio Livieres, which can accommodate around 8,000 spectators.

While that’s pretty small compared to other stadiums in South America, it always has a vibrant atmosphere. Loyal supporters such as Marisol Olmedo turn out on matchday, making the venue one of the most daunting for opponents.

They’re probably set for a few new fans, too, given her internet fame.
