Dillon Brooks again threw his shot at Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James by labeling him as the most overrated player in the league at the moment.
When it comes to trash talk, Phoenix Suns guard Dillon Brooks has built a reputation as one of the most outspoken players in today’s NBA. This season has been no different, as Brooks has taken shots at several opponents. But till now, LeBron James has often been his preferred target. Even James’ agent, Rich Paul, has previously admitted that he enjoys Brooks’ competitive jabs toward his client.
During a recent appearance in a video with streamer N3on, Brooks again threw his shot at the Los Angeles Lakers star by labeling LeBron James as the most overrated player in the league at the moment.
“I would probably say LeBron right now. I feel like he’s overrated right now. I feel like his time is coming to an end. You got to pass that on to one of our world guys like Luka or Shai,” Brooks said.
Brooks also hasn’t moved past the incident earlier this season when he was ejected for chest-bumping LeBron during a game. Despite the controversy, the Suns guard made it clear that he has no regrets about his shot at King James.
“When you’re on the floor, and it’s between those four lines, it doesn’t matter if you’re LeBron James or my grandmother. It’s war from when the whistle sounds to the end of the game,” he added.

Recently, Charles Barkley stated that Dillon Brooks deserves serious consideration for an All-Star selection. While Brooks hasn’t openly lobbied for the honor, he acknowledged that he believes his play has reached that level this season.
“Yeah, I feel like I’m playing at that level. Ultimately, I’m not gonna beg for it or do anything like that. If it comes, it comes. But our real All-Star is Book (Devin Booker). He’s been leading us this whole time, and he deserves to be in that All-Star talk and being a reserve on that All-Star team,” he said.
In his first season with the Phoenix Suns, Brooks has stepped up in a major way. The Suns standout is averaging 21.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game while shooting 44.5 percent from the field.
