The elite pass catcher went down hard during the second quarter against the Detroit Lions.

Following his injury, the stadium grew completely quiet as the team’s medical staff quickly rushed onto the field. The painful play unfolded when quarterback Josh Allen scrambled and fired a low pass toward the end zone.
Moore made a diving attempt for the ball but landed awkwardly on his left shoulder. A defending Detroit cornerback also landed heavily on top of him to complicate the physical impact. Therefore, the impact left him lying flat on his back in obvious, intense pain on the turf.

Luckily, DJ Moore eventually walked off under his own power while tightly favoring his collarbone and shoulder area. Medical personnel immediately escorted him into the locker room for further diagnostic evaluation and X-ray testing.

DJ Moore enjoyed a spectacular debut for the Buffalo Bills during their thrilling Week 1 matchup. The explosive wide receiver hauled in five receptions on eight total targets from quarterback Josh Allen.
His highly efficient performance allowed him to rack up exactly 100 receiving yards on the afternoon. An impressive 43-yard touchdown catch heavily highlighted his individual effort during the second quarter.
This explosive scoring play crucially helped lift the Bills to an exciting 36-31 road victory against Houston. Not having him for an extended period of time would be terrible for the surging Bills.
