Basketball fans had priceless reactions after Chicago Sky star Angel Reese dropped a humorous personal secret about her life in the Windy City.

The 23-year-old Angel Reese is in her second season with the Sky (5-11), who are looking to climb back into the tight WNBA playoff race. Entering Thursday’s slate of games, Chicago is three games behind the Caitlin Clark-led Indiana Fever (8-8) for the final playoff spot.

Reese has certainly done her part to keep Chicago in games, averaging a league-leading 12.6 rebounds per game by a wide margin. Las Vegas Aces star A’Ja Wilson is a distant second there with 9.9 rebounds per game, followed by Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx.

Known for her humor on social media, Angel Reese stunned basketball fans by revealing that she’s never eaten at a Portillo’s location. The fast-casual food chain has 94 locations across the United States, including 46 alone in the state of Illinois.

Basketball fans had plenty to say after Reese shared the surprising secret.

“We only judge on your rebound throws,” one fan said.

“Don’t waste your time, definitely overrated!” a user wrote.

“I’m judging you for the bricks,” said a fan.

“But I KNOW you’ve had Harold’s by now right?” asked another.

“Girl you better get over there!” quipped another.

“I won’t judge but really?” asked a fan.

For what it’s worth, there’s a Portillo’s location on West Taylor Street, which is only a 10-minute drive away from the Sky’s home venue, Wintrust Arena. Another location on West Ontario Street is just 11 minutes away from the arena.

Hey, this is the ideal opportunity for Portillo’s to call Angel Reese’s agent and see if they can set up an endorsement deal or partnership of some sort.

Reese and the Sky will look to make it two wins in a row when they visit the league-best Lynx (14-2) on Sunday evening (7:00 p.m. EST). Incredibly, the two clubs will have three more meetings after that this month, on July 12, 14 and 22.
