The View fans are well aware that Whoopi Goldberg never holds back. She has no problem speaking her mind, and that can occasionally backfire on her. Regardless, she makes no apologies for what she says, and some actually appreciate that trait. Her co-host, Joy Behar, is very much the same way, but thinks she can get away with it due to her comedic background. Unfortunately for The View ladies, when they truly overstep, they may hear about it. Bethenny Frankel slammed Joy when she alluded to the mogul having fake boobs. Joy never apologized, and now, Whoopi is in the hot seat with a Golden Bachelor star.

Dr. Terri Alani of Houston, Texas, was vying for Mel Owens’ heart on Season 2 of The Golden Bachelor. She made it to week three before being sent home without a rose. Yet, it was her entrance that made waves, especially with Whoopi Goldberg. She arrived at the mansion, stepped out of the limo, and had a puppet. The goal of the entrances is to make an impression on Mel, and it worked enough to keep her safe for a few weeks. After Whoopi saw this, she bashed Terri, mocking her and her puppetry skills:

“I saw her lips moving. With ventriloquists, the ventriloquist’s lips should not be moving.”

The seventy-one-year-old cosmetic dentist was just having fun with this experience. Therefore, she let Whoopi Goldberg know where she stood after hearing her insults:

“Honestly, I was more upset about my lips moving, which she called me out on as well, but I didn’t feel so bad because she couldn’t even say the word ventriloquist. So Whoopi, take that!”

Moreover, Terri was deemed the “muppet woman” by The View ladies, and that was equally offensive. She felt that way because she is a proud dentist and does not want to be demeaned.

The Golden Bachelor community loved Terri Alani and had nothing but praise for her and her entrance. They did not seem to care if she was a good ventriloquist or not. It was her sparkling personality and energy that won viewers over:
