Longtime DWTS host Tom Bergeron was unexpectedly fired in 2020. Erin Andrews was also let go from her co-hosting job. ABC said the decision was made to take the show in a new direction. Model and former talk show host Tyra Banks was brought in as a replacement. Viewers hated it.

Fans begged the show to fire Tyra Banks. She left to focus on other opportunities after just three seasons. Former contestant Alfonso Ribeiro joined Tyra as co-host for Season 31. He was named host after she left. Former pro dancer Julianne Hough became his co-host in Season 32.

Fans think one of them should be fired. Keep reading to find out why.

Season 34 Contestant Blames ‘Politics’ For Shocking Elimination

The fourteen celebrities competing on Season 34 of Dancing With The Stars didn’t face elimination until the second week of the season. ’80s movie star Corey Feldman and former professional basketball player Baron Davis were sent home in a shocking double elimination. He played with the Charlotte Hornets for six seasons, including after the team moved to New Orleans, Louisiana.

Three contestants and their professional partners found themselves in the bottom three on Tuesday’s episode. Andy Richter and Emma Slater, Lauren Jauregui and Brandon Armstrong, and Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten were all in danger of elimination.

With a score of 18 out of 30, Fifth Harmony singer Lauren Jauregui was sent home. Last week’s eliminated contestant Baron Davis, shared his reaction on social media. He blamed ‘politics’ as the reason for her departure and his own.

“Politics as Usual!!! Wow !!! I’m not good with this. I mean last week but this week,” he wrote on social media.

And he wasn’t alone in thinking that. The post received 1.3k likes and nearly 100 retweets. “Politics and racism. Devastated and furious for you, Lauren, Brandon & Britt,” one DWTS replied to the tweet.

DWTS Fans Demand Host Be Fired After ‘Painful’ On-Air Moment

DWTS celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. The show will have a birthday party episode later this season. After twenty years on the air, fans worry about the future of the show.

If viewers aren’t complaining about the contestants, they’re lashing out at the hosts. One host in particular is doing a bad job this season, according to fans of the show.

“I need Julianne Hough to stop hosting this show or at least switch her and alfonso cause every single one of her interviews is FREAKING PAINFUL,” one viewer wrote on social media during Tuesday’s episode.

Julianne Hough’s interview style was roasted by other viewers, as well. Check out some of the comments:

“Maybe instead of having the judges say just “one word” we cut Julianne Hough’s dialogue entirely?”
“I feel like every time i watch this show i’m so alarmed that julianne hough cannot get through her 10-12 words of scripted dialogue”
“How about instead of cutting short the judges feedback they cut the dumb segment with Julianne Hough.”
“if they don’t put julianne hough in interview boot camp, please take her mic because these questions are so dumb they are killing me”

Julianne Hough has a close connection to DWTS after competing as a pro dancer for five seasons, including two as part of the winning couple. The chance of ABC firing her is low, but do you think they should? Sound off in the comments.
