DWTS Guest Judge Admits They Gave Alix Earle Wrong Score

Alix Earle was one of the early confirmed contestants for Season 34 of DWTS. She’s paired with Val Chmerkovskiy. The social media influencer gained fame for her Get Ready With Me outfit videos. She moved to Houston, Texas, earlier this year to live with her boyfriend, NFL player Braxton Berrios. The couple is in a long-distance relationship now that she’s in California to compete on the show and he has to stay in Texas for the NFL season.

Val and Alix have consistently been at the top of the leaderboard. So far, they’ve never landed in the bottom three. That could change as the competition heats up. DWTS has featured celebrity judges to join regular judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli.

Alix Earle has had her struggles with several of the guest judges. Flavor Flav blocked Alix from getting a perfect score on Tuesday’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Night. He later explained that he meant to give her and Val a ten but mistakenly told the producers a nine. The producers gave him the 9 paddle and couldn’t change it to a ten because of the rules.

She’s ‘Humiliated’ By Stepmom’s Outburst Over Scoring

Former DWTS pro Cheryl Burke returned to the ballroom as a guest judge earlier in the season. Alix Earle’s stepmother, Ashley Dupré, took issue with the scores Cheryl gave and made a rude joke about the dancer’s alleged Ozempic use.

Alix Earle’s mother later issued a public apology to Cheryl Burke. But the apology was reportedly too late to mend her relationship with her stepdaughter. Sources confided in the Daily Mail that the social media influencer was ‘humiliated’ by her stepmother’s nasty comment.

“Ashley likes attention just as much as Alix, so she’ll say and post whatever she wants without thinking about the repercussions. This smack-talking of Cheryl Burke was a scenario where she crossed the line,” the insider said.

Ashley Dupré was infamous before she ever married into the Earle family. She was one of the escorts involved in the prostitution ring scandal involving former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer in 2008. She married Alix Earle’s father in 2013.

Their relationship was strained at the beginning but they were finally on good terms. Until Alix Earle’s stepmom disparaged Cheryl Burke. Now the DWTS alum is reportedly worried the backlash will affect her chances of winning the Mirrorball Trophy.

“The Earles keep family issues private, but lately there has been noticeable tension between Alix and her stepmom, Ashley,” the insider spilled.
