Whitney Leavitt Noted That Things Were Kind Of ‘Surreal’ In A Recent Post
Leavitt, a Utah native, is best known for appearing on Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. In addition, she has developed a large social media following across TikTok and Instagram.
Recently, Leavitt joined the cast of Dancing with the Stars during its 34rd season. As one of the show’s namesake celebrity dancers, she is paired with professional dancer Mark Ballas.

Taking to Instagram and TikTok, Leavitt recently shared a video where she addressed some frequently asked questions from fans. In a caption, she thanked her fans “for the love and support. Love you guys.”
As she started the video, Whitney showed herself getting ready for dance rehearsal on the show. In particular, she addressed what it was like looking back at herself on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
Leavitt noted, “It’s kind of surreal. Sometimes, I’m really proud at how I handled something. Sometimes, I just have to laugh at myself. Other times, I just cringe at how dramatic I look.”
However, during the conversation, Leavitt also had a few choice words for some of her critics. As she noted, she was asked about how she deals with “online hate or the online negativity.” She shared, “I always try not to take it too seriously.”
“Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion. Obviously, I’d be lying if I didn’t say I have insecurities, too. And sometimes, people tap into those. So, sometimes, it still gets to me. And this is what I do and it’s really, really simple.”

Leavitt explained, “It’s focus on the positive. I’m surrounded by people that love me. And care about me. And remind me who I am to focus on that.”
As Leavitt finished up her video, Leavitt gave a “shout out to the amazing people who are quite literally lifting me up every day. I see your videos and I just wanted to say, Thank You. And shout out to my haters. Thanks for keeping me trending. I really gotta go.”
