However, viewers quickly questioned Flav’s involvement after a rocky start that seemed to last the entire episode.

At the beginning of the night, the Flavor of Love alum was noticeably confused by the scoring concept, as fellow judge Carrie Ann Inaba rushed to his aid.

He then shocked the ballroom when he gifted the first performance by Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach a score of 10, their highest score ever, while the other judges gave them 9s.

Flav continued to throw out 9s and 10s for the following performances, though he didn’t share many reasons for why some scored higher than others.

“Having a non dancer judge is showing in every one of Flavor Flav’s chaotic scores,” one person wrote on X.

“Flavor Flav ruined my night,” complained another.

“Flava flav as a guest judge was an interesting choice..,” a third commented.

“Flava Flav needs to GO. whose idea was this,” someone else remarked in a Reddit thread.

“The voting this season is actually painful but tonight is something else,” a second Reddit user said.

Others called the TV personality’s behavior “genuinely infuriating” and wondered how he landed the gig this far into the competition

A DEVASTATING END

Fans were further outraged when the TV star gave Andy Richter and his partner, Emma Slater, a 10, the highest score they had ever received, despite the pair consistently being at the bottom of the leaderboard.

Andy and Emma have repeatedly surprised fans by making it through each week, although their scores have been significantly lower than those of the other dancers.

They again dodged elimination when hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro revealed that Danielle Fishel and her partner, Pasha Pashkov, were going home.

The news surprised viewers, especially after Danielle’s team received a perfect score for their group number just minutes before.

PUBLIC APOLOGY

Danielle also shared a sweet moment with Carrie Ann, who’s been scrutinized online for her harsh criticism of the actress’s earlier routines.

Carrie Ann apologized to Danielle for her “hurtful” words the week before, when she called the Girl Meets World alum “small,” and didn’t sing as high of praise for her performance as the other judges did.

Danielle assured Carrie Ann that she wasn’t upset by her feedback, and she finished her final dance with a 34 out of 40 score.

‘DESERVED BETTER’

Fans reacted to Danielle’s elimination on social media, with many believing Andy should’ve been the one to go instead.

“Danielle deserved better!! Let Andy go y’all,” one disappointed X user wrote.

“Not Danielle I’m begging y’all it’s Andy’s time to go,” a second echoed.

“Andy has been on the bottom for weeks now. Why is Danielle going home?” a third posted.

“Danielle shouldn’t have went home. She deserves to still be there. She was my favorite this season,” chimed in a fourth.

There are now seven celebrity contestants remaining in the competition, including Andy, Dylan, Robert Irwin, Alix Earle, Elaine Hendrix, Whitney Leavitt, and Jordan Chiles.
