El Mencho’s daughter was living a quiet life in California while her father ran a drug empire in Mexico.

El Mencho’s daughter has been running a business in California, the likes of which no one knew the ties to.

The narco-terrorist was buried this week after Mexican forces wounded him in a gunfight, eventually leading to his death.

While the former kingpin made his living peddling illegal drugs, his daughter sells something that’s unlikely to see her run afoul of the law, though it’s super-stimulating.

According to the New York Post, El Mencho’s youngest daughter, 24-year-old Laisha Oseguera Gonzalez, runs a coffee shop at a Cali strip mall.

“Nestled in a dusty, unassuming strip mall in Perris, California, sits El Rincon La Chulis, run by Laisha Oseguera Gonzalez, 24, youngest daughter of Nemesio “El Mencho” Cervantes,” the outlet reports.

The Post visited the cafe this week and claimed people were “shocked” to learn it had ties to the Mexican drug lord. However, they had not seen Gonzalaez since El Mencho died on February 22.

“It’s a normal place, and she’s really nice. A normal, respectful person and she runs a good business, but she never mentions her family or her husband,” a patron told the publication. “I’d seen rumors online, but something like the cartel would never cross people’s minds. It’s a normal coffee shop.”

Mexican sources said Gonzalez attended her father’s funeral on Tuesday.

The former Jalisco New Generation Cartel leader was buried in a gold coffin in Guadalajara, Mexico.

The Post also notes that Gonzalez is married to high-ranking CNG member Cristian Gutierrez-Ochoa. The 39-year-old faked his death and escaped to the U.S. via a tunnel. The escape followed accusations of kidnapping two Mexican Navy men.

“After resurfacing in California, he used a Social Security number under the name Luis Miguel Martinez to apply for a driver’s license in September 2023, authorities later claimed,” The Post notes.

Gutiérrez-Ochoa, A.K.A. “El Gaucho,” bought a $1.2 million, five-bedroom home in Riverside. It’s believed that Gonzalez still lives there.

Authorities arrested him on drug trafficking charges in 2024. He was sentenced to 11 years in prison in December.

The Post says there’s no suggestion that Gonzalez has any involvement in any criminal endeavors, nor does her business.
