Home Town Has Returned For The New Year With A New Season

Many fans were introduced to Ben and Erin Napier from their HGTV series, Home Town. Premiering in 2016, viewers saw the couple help renovate historic homes in Laurel, Mississippi.

Over the years, the show has also seen a few spin-offs. These include Home Town Takeover and Home Town: Ben’s Workshop.

Recently, Ben and Erin had some news to share just before the Season 10 premiere of Home Town. They also teased what fans could expect when the show returned, and it was only good things.

During the new season, the couple will be working on a project for Ben’s brother, Jesse Napier, and sister-in-law, Lauren Napier. The two had purchased a home without telling Ben and Erin.

As Ben noted, “They showed us a house, and they put in an offer. I said, ‘Woo, that thing needs a lot of work.’ And he said, ‘Well, we just put in an offer, and we think they’re gonna accept it.’”

Ben & Erin Got Involved When Jesse & Lauren Shared Some Big News For The Napier Family

Ben Napier added that he had some legitimate questions about Jesse and Lauren’s investment: “I’m at the moment of, ‘Whoa, you’re my brother, I do this for a living. Why didn’t you not come and talk to me about this?”

According to Erin, Jesse was confident they could pull off the project as they were young and had their lives to fix it up. Originally, there weren’t plans to feature the renovation on Home Town. However, Ben and Erin soon learned news that got them involved.

Erin revealed that the Napier family is growing, with Jesse and Lauren expecting a baby. As Erin shared, this will be the couple’s third child. Learning this, Ben and Erin “forced” Jesse and Lauren to let them renovate their new home.

According to the interview, Ben and Erin have renovated a home for Jesse and Lauren in the past. This took place when the latter couple married. However, they soon outgrew the place as their family grew.

Ben shared, “Renovating a house for a new married couple versus renovating a house for a family of five is very different.” Home Town debuted its tenth season on January 4, 2026.
