Getting drafted second overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday is not the only life-changing event for Travis Hunter to celebrate.

In a stunning move, the Jaguars acquired the No. 2 pick from the Cleveland Browns to move up and select Travis Hunter. Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Jacksonville also received the No. 104 and 200 picks, with the Browns getting the No. 5, 36 and 126 picks plus a 2026 first-round selection.

After the Jaguars drafted the Heisman Trophy winner, the ESPN broadcast announced some more exciting news in his personal life: Hunter is set to tie the knot with his fiancée, Leanna Lenee, late next month:

Travis Hunter and Lenee have reportedly been dating since 2022, and they became engaged in February 2024. The two met in high school before beginning a relationship while he was still playing at Jackson State.

Hunter won the 2024 Heisman Trophy after catching 96 passes for 1,258 yards and 15 touchdowns. As a cornerback, he had 11 pass breakups and four interceptions.

With Hunter coming to Jacksonville, the Jaguars immediately look like a threat to steal the AFC South from the Houston Texans. Hunter will form an explosive pass-catching duo with Brian Thomas Jr. while also lining up beside standout cornerback Tyson Campbell.

The Jaguars finished a woeful 4-13 last year after back-to-back 9-8 seasons. With a healthy Trevor Lawrence returning and Hunter in the fold, the pieces are there for the Jaguars to become a contender again.
