Peyton Manning’s son, Marshall Manning, is still in 8th grade, but he’s already garnering all sorts of hype, with fans impatiently waiting for the next star out of the legendary Manning family to hit college.

Arch Manning, Peyton and Eli Manning’s nephew, is currently in the spotlight, but he hasn’t given the best account of himself since becoming the starter at Texas. The quarterback took up the role with heavy expectations, with some folks having seen a Heisman Trophy in his not-too-distant future.

The Longhorns are 1-1 with him under center, and he was made to look sorely average in their highly anticipated opener against Ohio State.

ESPN analyst Paul Finebaum was one of Arch’s loudest proponents, calling him the best college player since Tim Tebow, but even he has been forced to backtrack after watching the QB get exposed this season, although it’s believed that he may be dealing with an injury.

“I have been leading the parade on Arch Manning. We all know that,” Finebaum said on ‘First Take’ earlier this week. “I’m backing up a little bit. I am not that impressed.”

Arch’s cousin Marshall is already creeping into the conversation. And his appearance in a ‘Sunday Night Football’ promo alongside his dad has thrust him further after going viral on Twitter/X.

The ad showed the father and son tuning in to Sunday’s thriller between the Ravens and Bills, but only after Peyton tried forcing him to sit through another replay of a memorable outing against his uncle, Eli, whom he called to complain.

Manning is still some way off from high school football and is a Class of 2030 quarterback, but he is already expected to be even bigger than Arch, though there’s some concern over how the exposure could impact his career.

“If you think the Arch Manning situation is crazy, wait until this kid gets close to committing,” a user claimed.

“Another nepo Manning baby😭😭,” another declared.

“Let’s start a rumor that he’s named after Eminem,” someone joked.

Despite the concerns, Marshall has already been linked to three top schools. We’ll just have to wait and see how it plays out.
