Hailey Van Lith has not generated much buzz during her rookie campaign, but that changed a bit when she made a move ahead of a recent game.
Van Lith’s rookie season with the Chicago Sky has been full of ups and downs. Heading into Monday night’s game against the Las Vegas Aces, Chicago has already been eliminated from WNBA playoff contention.
The 2025 WNBA Draft’s No. 11 overall pick would receive limited time in this game, which has become a theme of her rookie season.
The WNBA rookie changed her look in a big way, going from her blonde hair in those model photos to red, which was a drastic change to her look.
Fans first noticed this change from Van Lith when the Sky’s social media accounts posted pregame outfit photos before their August 23 game against the Connecticut Sun.
Several other photos of Hailey Van Lith’s new hair have since surfaced, with X user @leaguefits posting several on August 25 with the caption, “Chicago’s newest redhead: Hailey Van Lith. 🍓”

It’s Been A Tough Year For Hailey Van Lith
Hailey Van Lith needs a fresh start.
Her rookie season was supposed to be so much better than this. In her final year in college, she looked like she would step right in as a day-one starter and contribute on a playoff-bound team.
Absolutely nothing went according to plan.
The 2025 WNBA Draft’s No. 11 overall pick, who broke the internet with her dress at the draft, is averaging 3.6 points and 1.6 assists in 12.7 minutes per game. She has appeared in 28 of 36 possible games for the Sky but hasn’t made a single start.
Van Lith, who turns 24 next month, has also had nagging ankle injuries that have stopped her from making a bigger impact.
In the last two games alone, she has played a total of eight minutes and not scored a single point. In fact, Van Lith has just 13 points total in her last eight games played.
Perhaps this new look can kickstart a solid end to Van Lith’s rookie season

“30 MILLION PEOPLE ONCE LOST THEIR MINDS OVER… A CURTAIN.” Believe it or not, one of the funniest moments in TV history came from a simple green curtain. Back in 1976, the Carol Burnett Show delivered a scene so ridiculous that the entire country practically stopped breathing from laughter. Carol walked down a grand staircase wearing a “gown” made from green velvet drapes—curtain rod still hanging across her shoulders like she’d ripped it straight off the wall. The audience exploded the second they saw her. She didn’t even make it halfway down the steps before people were doubled over, crying with laughter. Costume legend Bob Mackie came up with the idea as a quick joke, but when Carol caught sight of herself in that over-the-top outfit, she literally collapsed laughing. And nearly 50 years later, it’s still just as hilarious as the day it aired.
Long before memes and viral videos dominated pop culture, The Carol Burnett Show delivered one of the most unforgettable comedic…
