The Shannon Sharpe r3pe lawsuit took a sharp left turn.

The Hall of Famer is currently trying to play defense against his accuser, calling the $50 million civil suit a “shakedown” and claiming full innocence.

However, his attorney, Lanny Davis, revealed a major detail that complicates things.

Sharpe previously offered at least $10 million to settle the case before it ever became public.

Lanny J. Davis, Sharpe’s attorney in the civil case, revealed that Sharpe made an offer to settle with the plaintiff in “the last month or so” before the three-time Super Bowl champion was blindsided by the civil complaint filed on Sunday.

Sharpe was accused of assault, s3xual assault, battery, and s3xual battery. He was also accused of engaging “in the intentional infliction of emotional distress.
