Suni Lee believes Jordan Chiles’ performance on the dance floor is just as impressive as it is on the gymnastics floor.

Last year, the two gymnasts cheered each other on at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where they brought home the gold medal for the United States. This year, they seem to be just as supportive of one another as Suni Raves over her teammate’s dancing on Dancing with the Stars.

While the judges “lowball” her scores, her teammate is doing quite the opposite as she raves over her performances.

While speaking to The Express at the WWD Honors, Suni, 22, gushed, “She is killing it right now.

“I’m just so proud of her,” she added. She looks like she’s having the time of her life and I know it’s something that she’s wanted to do for a really long time.”

The gymnast has been in constant communication with the 24-year-old contestant throughout the competition.

“I’ve texted her a couple times after all of her dances,” she mentioned.

Suni isn’t the only one from the U.S. gymnastics team to be cheering her on. She said, “It’s a lot of fun for all of us to be able to watch her.”

Along with Suni and Jordan, Simone Biles, Jade Carey, and Hezly Rivera make up the self-pronounced Golden Girls. They earned this nickname after winning the gold medal in the team final at the Paris Olympics.

Jordan is still in the running for another triumph as there are only eight couples left in the ongoing 34th season of Dancing with the Stars. She is currently competing with Ezra Sosa, who also has raved over his partner.

Along with the gymnast, Alix Earle, Dylan Efron, Robert Irwin and Whitney Leavitt are still competing as well as Andy Richter, Danielle Fishel and Elaine Hendrix.

Jordan and Ezra most recently performed a contemporary routine to Sia’s 2013 hit single Elastic Heart. Her final score for Halloween Night came to an impressive 34 out of 40, making her come in fourth place on the leaderboard, just behind Alix, Robert and Whitney.

The last person to get eliminated on the show was new pro dancer Jan Ravnik and Jen Affleck.

The Bachelor’s Joey Graziadei and his partner Jenna Johnson were the last duo to win the iconic prize.

Their season left big shoes to fill as it attracted the highest total viewership in over three years, with 7.95 million viewers watching the finale.

Dancing with the Stars airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
