The Miami Hurricanes-Louisville Cardinals game on Friday left plenty of fans testy, and not just because of the on-field results.

In one of the biggest upsets of the 2025 NCAA football season thus far, the Louisville Cardinals came into Hard Rock Stadium and upset the second-ranked Miami Hurricanes 24-21.

The Louisville defense picked off Miami star Carson Beck four times in the victory, with the frustrated signal-caller throwing his own teammate under the bus in his post-game press conference.

Now, the on-field result was undoubtedly a stunner. But college football upsets happen all the time. What’s one thing you rarely see? An elderly woman delivering a vicious right-hander to a younger fan straight in the face:

Who knows what was said leading up to that altercation, but something had to set the woman off to punch the Miami Hurricanes supporter. Speaking of bad fan conduct, what about the incident of Miami fans fighting each other after the game?

Remember folks, it’s just a game.

Miami Hurricanes Have To Take Advantage Of An Upcoming Soft Schedule

The good news for the Hurricanes is that their upcoming schedule does them plenty of favors. All of their remaining games are against unranked teams, with the 5-2 SMU Mustangs and Pittsburgh Panthers marking their toughest opponents.

Miami will drop in the AP top 25 after losing to the unranked Cardinals, but they’re still in a prime spot to finish as a 12-team that would put them in the College Football Playoff National Championship.

Carson Beck and the Hurricanes return to action next Saturday with the Stanford Cardinal coming to town.
