Jesse Watters was called out by his Fox News co-host after he made a sexist remark while live on-air.
During April 1’s episode of Fox News’s The Five, which featured the chyron, “‘Sometime soon: Pelosi says first female president is on the horizon,” Watters claimed he wouldn’t want to see a female US head of state in his “lifetime.”
On the show, which has three female panelists, the 47-year-old said, “Well, Nancy says there will not be a female president in her lifetime, and I say, ‘Thank God.’ I hope there’s not a female president in my lifetime.”
Grinning, Watters was clearly rather pleased by his statement as Jessica Tarlov fumed at her controversial co-host, “Why would you say that?”
While Greg Gutfeld could be heard chuckling off camera, Watters replied to Tarlov, in what appeared to be a joke, remarking, “You know what, Jessica? People are saying that women, do women have the —.” However, he was quickly interrupted by Gutfeld, who interjected, “You are just jumping off a cliff, just because you’re bored.”
Continuing, Watters went back to his point, as he told the panel, “— emotional maturity. Many people are saying, ‘Do they have the personal contacts in the business world to manage the economy?’ Many people are saying, Greg, do women have the respect of the generals?”
As Watters clearly tried to stifle his laugh while he compressed his lips, Gutfeld asked, “Who said that?” with the 47-year-old quickly replying, “Many people are saying women don’t have the sense of humor to be president. I’ve heard that from a lot of people. None of those things I believe.”
Fox News viewers rushed to social media to share their opinions about Watters’ comments, and the stunned silence of his female cohosts.

“F–k off, Watters, you bobbleheaded fool,” one person wrote on X, while another added, “What a pos. His momma is a woman. So we can give birth and raise babies, but we can’t lead? We could do a better job than the men.”
A third person simply penned, “Repulsive little man,” while a fourth Fox News viewer chimed in to ask, “Why is this waste of human flesh still on the air?”
“Sexist loser. All these misogynist pigs like Jessie are terrified of women whom they can’t manipulate. Imagine all the disgusting sex jokes he’ll make about the first woman President. His mom didn’t teach him to respect women,” fumed a fifth.
This comes as Jessica Tarlov issued Jesse Watters a brutal blow, after she mocked him for his reading skills on air.
Last month, Watters tried to rip into Tarlov, as he said, “I read more [newspapers] than you every day.” However, Tarlov jumped in quickly with her retort, quipping, “I don’t think that’s true,” before Watters listed off the four publications he reads.
The 42-year-old then shot back, jokingly asking, “And you still say this crap on TV after you’ve read all that?” which Greg Gutfeld seemed to find highly amusing as he laughed off-camera.
