Fox News’ Carley Shimkus revealed live on air Friday morning that she is pregnant with her second child — and expecting another boy due at the end of July.
The personal update from the “FOX & Friends First” co-host drew cheers from her colleagues.
“I’m having another baby,” Shimkus said.

Shimkus, already a mom to 3-year-old son Brock, said her family is eager to welcome the new addition.
“My husband and I and Brock … are so excited,” she said.
She added that she is “five and a half months pregnant … 22 weeks” and feeling well.
“I feel great. So that is also a blessing,” she said.
Shimkus said she had a strong feeling about the baby’s gender.
“When I got the news … I just knew I was having another boy,” she said.
“I knew this baby is just such a blessing from God,” she said. “And I’m so excited to have a second child.”

The news means Brock will soon have a younger brother — something Shimkus said she hopes will lead to a close bond.
“I pray that they’re going to be the best of friends throughout their whole entire life,” she said.
She also reflected on raising her first son.
“I am continually shocked by his energy level and behavior,” the co-host said. “It’s such a blessing how much of a zest for life he has.”
Before learning the baby’s sex, Shimkus said she had considered a different dynamic.

“I was thinking, wouldn’t it be nice to have like a sweet little girl who likes to color?” she said.
The on-air moment also sparked a lighthearted exchange about whether her growing family might leave New York City for Long Island.
Shimkus said a friend recently sent her a home listing in Massapequa, joking that she and co-host Brian Kilmeade could become neighbors.
“Maybe we’ll be neighbors,” she said.
Shimkus closed the segment by thanking her colleagues and employer for their support.
“Thank you to Fox for being so supportive of me and my family,” she said.
