Fox News Viewers React As Guest Pushes Back On Jesse Watters During Tense Interview
Conservatives broke rank and supported Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed after he demolished host Jesse Watters in a heated interview.
During the Fox News broadcast of Jesse Watters Primetime, El-Sayed, 41, appeared as a guest during the latest installment on August 24. The Democratic nominee started off cordially, reminding the conservative host that they loved football and lacrosse and shared a passion for the United States. However, Watters had a bone to pick with the politician and argued over his anti-ICE rhetoric.
As the heated interview progressed by the minute, the two ended up in a yelling match as one tried to outdo the other. This came after the host embarked on another scathing, sexist rant while talking about women in power.Watters fumed, “You want to abolish ICE! Who is going to deport the criminal aliens from the country?
El-Sayed replied, “You and I both know that we’ve long before we ever had ICE, we had INS. We were able to enforce our immigration policies without shooting people in the face.”

Watters snapped, “That’s a dodge! INS did the same thing as ICE!”
El-Sayed snidely asked the host, “Shooting people in the back of the head?”
As the interview went on, the Fox News host smiked and mockingly said, “Some of the stuff you said is just straight up wacky!”
El-Sayed hit back, “We have a president of the United States who cares more about the drapes in a ballroom that shouldn’t be built than he cares about the war he just got us into. That seems to be a little wacky!”
Viewers took to social media to slam Watters for losing his temper and letting his guest dominate the discussion.
One viewer said, “Jesse Watters pushed, but Abdul El-Sayed walked all over him. He completely destroyed him!”
Another person added, “Abdul El-Sayed called out Jesse Watters for his issues on culture war instead of pocketbook topics! He killed it tonight!”
A third wrote, “Look at Watters’ face at the end! El-Sayed got him!”

Despite the criticism, Watters still had a supporter who shared, “That’s a wrap! Abdul sunk his campaign! Just keep him talking.”
During an August 19 episode of The Five, Watters slammed the Democratic candidate for his comments about Jesus.
Watters vented, “Yeah, I mean, I have three rules in cable news, Dana, you never compare anything to the Holocaust, 911, or slavery, but I’m going to add a new one: never compare yourself to Jesus. I will agree that Jesus was radical in his time, but a politician nationalizing the healthcare industry does not make him the Son of God.”
He closed, “I never thought we’d be here when a Muslim politician was invoking Jesus to take away my Jewish doctor, Dr. Siegel, but here we are.”
When asked if socialist policies represent Christian values, El-Sayed stated, “Jesus, peace and blessings be upon him, was considered radical in his time, too, and there is a radical nature to being willing to stand forthright in a time of corruption.”
