George Pickens minced no words in his response to Richard Sherman.

Dallas Cowboys star projected to be top fantasy football ...

Dallas Cowboys star wide receiver George Pickens responded to Richard Sherman’s criticism from last night’s ‘Thursday Night Football’ game.

Throughout Thursday’s must-win road game against the Detroit Lions, the Amazon Prime Video broadcasts showed George Pickens putting in little effort on some of his routes. He simply failed to deliver when the Cowboys needed him, after CeeDee Lamb left the game with a concussion in the third quarter.

Speaking on the postgame show, Richard Sherman lit into Pickens for looking “uninterested” and “disengaged” during the game. Pickens, who’s in the middle of a career year, had just five receptions for 37 yards.

It didn’t take long for George Pickens to respond. The star wide receiver clapped back at Richard Sherman in an NSFW rant, so read the message at your own discretion:

Knowing Sherman, it won’t be long until he responds to Pickens. All we can say is, it’s too bad Pickens entered the NFL after Sherman retired. The on-field battles would have been epic.

George Pickens Must Return To Form Over Final Four Games

The Cowboys already had slim playoff hopes coming into their ‘TNF’ clash with the Lions. A loss means they certainly have to win out and finish 10-6-1, for starters. They also need the Philadelphia Eagles to somehow lose three of their final five games. Easier said than done.

George Pickens is in the middle of a career year with 78 receptions for 1,179 yards and eight touchdowns, per Pro Football Reference. But the Cowboys can’t have more 50-percent efforts from Pickens if they’re going to win out. Pure and simple.

Dallas will try to keep its season alive when it hosts the Minnesota Vikings on ‘Sunday Night Football’ in Week 15. Lose that game, and their playoff hopes are completely done for.
