Gerry Turner has revealed that he saw a different side of Theresa Nist in the fantasy suite. It seems to have been a way better side than he imagined.
“In the first two hours of our overnight I met a Theresa that I had not seen before. In the fantasy suite, she showed me a side that was not for the rest of the world but for me alone. I totally fell for her, and, at the end of this conversation, many hours into the night, I told her I loved her,”
He revealed all this in his newly released memoir. This makes sense as the fantasy suite has no cameras, and everyone can be themselves.

It seems as though Gerry saw a side of Theresa that won him over. It was a side that only he got to see. This is what made him say “I love you” and propose to her in the end.
