A hilarious video has emerged of some NFL fans attempting to recreate the Philadelphia Eagles’ signature “tush push” play, and it’s truly a sight to behold.

The Eagles started running the tush push in 2021, the first season under head coach Nick Sirianni. Jalen Hurts, who took over as the Eagles’ starting QB late in the 2020 season, has executed the play to near-perfection behind one of the league’s best offensive lines.
Hurts has already racked up 59 rushing touchdowns in 81 regular-season games, along with 10 rushing touchdowns in nine postseason games. The practically unstoppable play has guided Philly to four straight playoff appearances, two NFC Championships and a Super Bowl 59 victory.
Now, might we be entering a new social trend where people use the Eagles’ play to break through other barriers, like doors or brick walls?
In a new video that has gone viral, a group of six young men (all wearing different NFL jerseys) decided to perform the tush push together. On three occasions, they had a friend open a door and perfectly executed the play:
Not sure who runs a better tush push… these guys or the Eagles? 😂😅

And to think some folks want the tush push banned entirely. If these young men can run it to perfection, what excuse do 31 other NFL teams have?

Eagles Have Made The Tush Push Play Practically Unstoppable

As noted by ESPN’s Stephen Holder back on Sept. 16, the Eagles had converted on 96.6 percent of 4th-and-1 situations since 2022. There’s simply no formula to stopping this play, and opposing defenses can only hope that Hurts and company will somehow screw up the play.
Of course, the Eagles have benefited from referees missing false start calls during the tush push play, notably in Week 2 against the Kansas City Chiefs. But hey, 31 other NFL teams had the opportunity to vote and ban the play, and it hasn’t come to fruition.
At any rate, the Eagles are sitting pretty at 4-0 after a 31-25 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Their last three wins (Chiefs, Los Angeles Rams and Buccaneers) have come against teams that reached the postseason a year ago, and to think the passing game hasn’t gotten into rhythm yet.
