Haliey Welch Stars In Wild Ad Trashing Lane Kiffin Ahead Of His Return To Ole Miss [VIDEO]
They really detest him over there.
Lane Kiffin left Ole Miss under messy circumstances last November. He bolted for LSU just days after leading the Rebels to their best regular season ever.
That decision set up one of college football’s most anticipated matchups this weekend. Kiffin returns to Oxford on Saturday, coaching against the program he abandoned months earlier.
A betting company decided the moment was too good to pass up.

Underdog Fantasy released a new commercial featuring a life-sized cardboard cutout of Kiffin, labeled “Coach Lame.” The ad shows people throwing darts directly at the cutout throughout the spot. Several different scenes cut between everyday settings, including a home workout class and a casual hangout.
“Hawk Tuah Girl” Haliey Welch appears among the cast members poking fun at Kiffin throughout the ad. Her involvement adds proper sauce and internet culture to a campaign clearly built for maximum shareability heading into Saturday’s game.
They can keep him.

The timing lines up perfectly with real events. Kiffin himself sparked backlash this week by calling LSU the “underdog” against Ole Miss, a claim that irritated fans, given his very public reasons for leaving Oxford in the first place.

Kiffin left Ole Miss on November 30, just after guiding the Rebels to an 11-1 record and their first-ever College Football Playoff berth. LSU lured him away with a reported $13 million annual salary, betting he could build the SEC’s most feared program in Baton Rouge.
Both teams enter Saturday undefeated at 2-0, setting up a genuine top-10 showdown. LSU currently sits as a slight favorite, though oddsmakers view the game as close to a toss-up given the emotional stakes involved.
Four former Ole Miss players followed Kiffin to LSU through the transfer portal, adding even more personal intrigue to Saturday’s matchup.
Whether Underdog’s ad campaign actually moves the needle on betting activity remains to be seen. Either way, it’s clear plenty of people outside Oxford are just as invested in seeing Kiffin face his old team.
