MICKEY Lee from the hit series Big Brother was rushed to hospital in a critical condition after cardiac arrest earlier this week.

The reality star, who appeared on Season 27 of Big Brother, has a “long road” ahead, according to a GoFundMe created by her family.

And now her family have given a health update on the star while also asking for privacy.

“A loving request from Mickey’s family,” the statement began.

It went on, “Our hearts are heavy as we walk through a critical moment regarding Mickey.

“We feel the love surrounding us and we are incredibly thankful.”

The statement added, “Right now our family needs quiet, space, and uninterrupted time to focus on her care and on one another.

“We respectfully ask that calls, texts and messages pause for now.

“Your prayers mean more than words, and we will share updates when we are able.

“Thank you for honoring our need for privacy at this very difficult time.

“Have a Merry Christmas,” the statement concluded.

Underneath, fans of the reality star flocked to the comments section to send well wishes and messages of love.

One person penned: “Mickey and family, you are in our hearts and prayers.”

“Praying for speedy recovery praying for your family and Gods healing,” said another.

“My thoughts and prayers are with you, Mickey, and your family during this time,” added a third.

While a fourth wrote: “Praying for a speedy recovery and so sorry you’re all dealing with this at all but especially around the holidays. Sending my love and praying for miracles.”

And a fifth said: “Praying for love, strength and healing for you and your family!”
