Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul fight details

Jake Paul reveals his nose was cracked in sparring ahead of the Anthony Joshua fight, raising injury concerns just days before their massive showdown.

Before a fight, every athlete wants to enter the showdown in perfect shape, without taking any damage during training. But that’s not always how it goes. Many fighters end up carrying injuries into a bout, and it often costs them when the lights come on. Now, ahead of the biggest fight of his career, Jake Paul has shared a concerning update just days before his clash with Anthony Joshua.

Paul says Frank Sanchez cracked his nose during their sparring sessions at his fight camp. It’s moved a couple of millimeters according to him, and he admits it’s bad. ‘The Problem Child’ appeared on the Pat McAfee Show with his nose visibly busted from catching shots. He wouldn’t confirm whether it’s actually broken, but the visible damage and his description suggest serious injury.

He said, “It is even more crooked, brother. I’m not going to lie, sparring the heavyweights has moved my nose a couple of millimetres this camp. A guy by the name of Frank Sanchez definitely cracked it a little bit so it definitely has a slight little something in there. But yeah man, it’s bad.”

A damaged nose affects breathing, especially when you’re fighting five or more rounds against an elite boxer. Joshua will target it immediately if he notices weakness. Every punch that lands there compounds the existing injury.

Paul refusing to say if it’s broken might be gamesmanship, but his face on camera told the story. The fight is days away and he’s already compromised before stepping in the ring.

The Official Rules For Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua

The fight is a fully sanctioned heavyweight bout, but instead of going the long distance, it’s set for eight rounds of three minutes each. Both fighters will use 10-ounce gloves, so the punches will land quicker and feel sharper. The most interesting part, though, is the weight limit on Joshua; he isn’t allowed to come in above 245 pounds, which could change how he prepares for the fight.

However, it is not a good thing that he is now taking on the toughest fight of his career with the same type of injury he had in the previous fight and against an opponent who possesses the sort of power that Joshua does.

Unlike his other recent opponents, AJ has actual punching power, has been actively competing throughout his career, and is a two-time world champion (having won the title twice) and an Olympic champion. Therefore, he is a legitimate threat to Paul.

Luka Doncic ‘destroys’ the Mavs on his return. Gets standing ovation and shows love to Mark Cuban

Luka Doncic hits 45 points in his first game in Dallas since being traded to the Los Angeles.

It’s rare for a home crowd to cheer the visiting team, but Luka Doncic’s return to Dallas was no ordinary night.

Just days before February’s trade deadline, the Mavericks shocked the NBA by sending their 26-year-old superstar to the Lakers—a move that outraged fans and sparked backlash toward GM Nico Harrison.

On Wednesday, Doncic played his first game back in Dallas since the trade. The arena was filled with fans in both his old Mavs and new Lakers jerseys, many chanting “Fire Nico” in protest.

Despite the emotion in the air, Doncic delivered a dominant performance, scoring a game-high 45 points to lead the Lakers to a 112-97 win. It was a powerful return for one of the league’s brightest stars—and a night Dallas won’t soon forget

The Mavericks pay tribute to Luka Dončić

While the Mavericks’ decision to trade Luka Doncic remains heavily criticized, they handled his return to Dallas with undeniable grace. The organization made sure his first game back as a Laker was met with respect and appreciation.

Every seat in the arena was draped with a T-shirt reading “Hvala za vse,” which translates from Slovenian to “thank you for everything.” It was a thoughtful nod to Doncic’s heritage and impact on the franchise.

Before tip-off, during the starting lineup announcements, the Mavericks played a tribute video showcasing some of Doncic’s most iconic moments in a Dallas jersey. The emotional gesture clearly resonated—moving Doncic to tears in front of the crowd that once called him their own.

Luka Doncic ‘DESTROYS’ his old team

Luka delivered a dazzling performance against his former team, putting up 45 points on 16-of-28 shooting, including 7-of-10 from beyond the arc. He also added 8 rebounds6 assists, and 4 steals in a game that showed exactly why he’s one of the best in the league.

From the opening tip, Doncic was locked in. By halftime, Doncic had racked up 31 points on 11-of-16 shooting in just 19 minutes—marking the 10th time in his career he’s scored 30 or more in a single half.

Though his scoring slowed in the second half, he continued to lead effectively, securing both a Lakers win and an unforgettable showing for the fans in Dallas.
