Jelly Roll’s wife has spoken out for the first time since the country music star admitted cheating on her was “one of the worst moments” of his adulthood.
The singer, 40, recently made the revelation during a chat on the Human School podcast and said that after his affair, he and Bunnie Xo worked hard to repair their relationship.
Following Jelly’s confession, many social media users shared their thoughts on his affair, with several people commenting on Bunnie’s latest Instagram post.
On Thursday, the 45-year-old, who has been married to Jelly since 2016, shared a screenshot of a message she received from a fan on her Instagram Stories.
The text read, “Oh my dear. Your husband had an affair on you. You took him back and have sung perfection since.

“I’m super bummed. We can’t look up to you now. Where are your friends. How can anyone support this? Dear lord provide bunny the strength to hop away.”
However, Bunnie didn’t agree with the comment and decided to respond, saying, “It actually takes a stronger woman to face pain head-on, do the work, and rebuild with the man she loves – instead of running or gossiping.”
She added, “Growth isn’t weakness, it’s grace. But not everyone’s built for that kind of strength. I pray you never have to feel that pain bc you’re judging another woman’s life.”
Bunnie also shared that another person had written, “You got cheated on & still stayed with him,” followed by laughing emojis.
But she replied, “Tell me you’ve never had someone really love you without telling me.”
In his confession on October 21, Jelly said, “One of the worst moments of my adulthood was when I had an affair on my wife.
“Because it was the first time that I was like, ‘I really can’t get this right at all. I know I’m in love with this woman.’ It just really, really, really blew me back.”

The singer said he and his wife, who recently celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary, put in “a lot of work to repair” their relationship and they are now “stronger than we could have ever been.”
He said, “I wish our story would’ve went in the way that it never had an affair, and I’m in way glad it happened, but man, I’m proud of who we are today. I truly am.”
Jelly – real name Jason Bradley DeFord – also confessed that at the time, he had surrounded himself with people who had a negative influence on him.
He said, “I was hanging around a bunch of people that were cheating on their wives. When I was doing cocaine, I was hanging around a bunch of people that were doing cocaine.

“I used to be proud of long-standing friendships just because they had a number attached to them. Horrible humans. But I would just be proud to say, ‘That dude’s been with me 12 years.’ S—-y human!”
The singer also said he now only wants to “be around people I want to be like.” He didn’t specify when the affair happened but in a TikTok video last year, Bunnie – real name Alyssa DeFord – mentioned the couple briefly split in 2018.
“Who knew that us breaking up in 2018, me moving back to Vegas & you coming to get me back – would have put us on this wild journey called life,” she said.
“We finally committed to each other & did everything we promised each other the first night in 2016. Our castle in the sand had to crumble so we could rebuild on solid ground.”
