Savannah Guthrie Pleads For Mother’s Safe Return

Nothing has been the same since Nancy Guthrie was seemingly kidnapped from her Arizona home on February 1st, 2026. She was last seen on January 31st, 2026, and had dinner with her daughter, Annie Guthrie. After that, everything is unknown, other than her pacemaker pinged around 2 am, connected to her Apple products. Since that time, Nancy has been nowhere to be found, and there is a massive search for her. Her daughter is Today Show co-host, Savannah Guthrie, and she has been in Arizona praying for her mother’s safe return.

On the evening of Wednesday, February 4th, 2026, Savannah, along with her siblings, Camron and Annie, came out and pleaded for their mother’s safe return. Ransom notes have been sent out to several news outlets and have been taken very seriously. However, it is unclear if they are legitimate or not. In the video, Savannah sat between her sister and brother and spoke to the kidnapper(s) as well as her mother:

“As a family, we are doing everything that we can. We are ready to talk. However, we live in a world where voices and images are easily manipulated. We need to know without a doubt that she’s alive and that you have her. We want to hear from you and we are ready to listen. Please reach out to us.”

Moreover, President Donald Trump is ready and willing to do absolutely everything possible to bring Nancy home. He has been in touch with Savannah Guthrie to check in and let her know he is by her side.

A Strong Woman

One thing that was clear in the video was that Savannah Guthrie has faith in her mother. She wanted to let her know how much she loved her and how strong she is. However, she did note that she needed her medication to survive and did not want her mother to suffer. This has been mentioned since the beginning; Nancy Guthrie is on a medication that could be fatal if not taken within twenty-four hours. That time period has since lapsed, and it has been four days.
