Last month, the tragic news came down that former Cincinnati Bengals star running back Rudi Johnson tragically passed away at the age of 45.

A cause of d3ath was not mentioned at the time, however, TMZ was informed that Johnson had been struggling with mental health issues and the possible effects of CTE that he could not overcome.

That led many to think he could’ve taken his own life. They were correct. Police told TMZ Sports that the cause of d3ath has been ruled a suicide.

Now, more information has come out.

Amid Johnson’s d3ath, multiple people called 911 to report “somebody screaming” and cries for help before his tragic suicide at an apartment building in Florida, according to police audio obtained by TMZ.

One caller could be heard saying that she saw someone fall from a balcony near her residence. That someone would later be identified as Rudi Johnson.

“It’s building in front of me, I just saw someone jump off the building … They jumped off the balcony into the pool,” the frantic caller relayed.

“There was multiple people on the balcony … Somebody was screaming, saying, ‘Help me.’

“I looked over and somebody was screaming ‘Help me, help me!’ screaming at at the top of their lungs, so I looked over and I saw somebody just completely falling off the balcony.”

The 911 dispatcher then asked the caller if she had heard anything before the falling incident, and responded, “I heard somebody screaming, saying, ‘Help! Help! Don’t do this. Don’t do this. Somebody help me. Somebody help me.’ It was a woman.”

In a separate call, another caller described pretty much the same thing.

“I just heard people screaming and a huge … bang,” the second caller said. “I heard people screaming for help in the pool … I heard a lot of screaming … And then a huge boom.”

TMZ reported that at least five people had called to report the incident.

Former Cincinnati Bengals running back Rudi Johnson passed away by suicide at age 45 after reportedly struggling with mental health issues and the possible effects of CTE.

Former Kansas City Chiefs running back Larry Johnson wasn’t buying the story of him struggling with CTE, since an autopsy hadn’t been done, and you can’t be diagnosed until you’re d3ad and your brain gets checked.

Johnson took to social media to relay that Rudi was thrilled in the days before his d3ath, even planning out his birthday for the following month.

The former running back added that three running backs who wore the number 32 died three years apart. He named Cedric Benson, Franco Harris, and Rudi Johnson.

Johnson relayed that Rudi’s friends wanted an investigation into his untimely d3ath.
