
Ryan Easley tragically lost his life earlier this year following a tiger attack. Recently, however, more details have come out about the incident, including just what Easley endured during the attack.
A Tiger Attack Taking Place This Past September Ultimately Claimed Ryan Easley’s Life
Ryan Easley was fatally mauled during a live performance in Oklahoma. At the time, the news especially made headlines as Easley was an associate of Tiger King star Joe Exotic.
Easley lost his life on September 20 while performing at Growler Pines Tiger Preserve in Hugo. The attack took place during a show, in front of his wife, Elaine, and their young daughter, Lily. Recently, however, a newly released report has shared some details about the incident, including the injuries that Easley sustained.

According to the report, which was shared by TMZ, Easley endured nearly 100 puncture wounds during the attack. This included a massive hole in his neck.
Regarding the neck, Easley was described as having “two lacerations extending from the left to the right side of the neck with separate deep punctures” and “two lacerations with deep punctures on the left side of the neck.” He also had ten more deep puncture wounds and other lacerations around the neck area.
Easley Was 37 Years Old At The Time Of His Death
Easley was also described as having multiple lacerations around the upper abdomen, as well as on his back and arms. Marks could also be seen on both of his legs. A cluster of “deep red-purple contusions” could also be seen on his scalp.
According to a Tulsa Medical Examiner, Easley died from “blunt force, sharp force, and crushing injuries” following the tiger attack. As the outlet noted, Easley was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after paramedics and deputies responded to the tiger attack. He was 37 years old at the time of his passing.
Easley had a long history of working with animals. His father reportedly worked as a zookeeper and worked with elephants. Ryan worked as an apprentice with a tiger trainer at the age of 21. After his mentor retired in 2011, he started a travelling act, ShowMe Tigers.
Ryan later opened Growler Pines Tiger Preserve. In a statement following Ryan’s death, Growler Pines Facebook also shared that what happened was a “painful reminder of both the beauty and unpredictability of the natural world.”
