Kansas volleyball star player Brynn Kirsch is gaining thousands of new followers on Instagram.

Kirsch, a defensive specialist from South Dakota, is in her senior year and gaining recognition online.

During media day in August, Brynn posted several pictures from her photoshoot where she was showing off her team threads. The first picture showed her in a baby blue jersey and the tiny dark blue shorts.

The second picture was of Brynn Kirsch sporting a pink jersey while giving her signature smile. For the third picture, she was turned to the side while rocking a white jersey.

“Media day p4📸📸😸🏐,” she wrote on Instagram.

How social media reacted:

“Perfect as always ❤️,” one fan said.

“Damn, oh damn, shawty, you so fine 🔥🔥,” a second fan wrote.

“Just licked my screen,” a third admirer said of Brynn Kirsch.

“barked so hard my landlord charged a pet fee,” one final fan commented.

Volleyball is nt typically a sport that makes it to the news. However, at some point this year, there was a moment where a white volleyball player gripped the cheeks of a black teammate and got smacked for it.

More On Brynn Kirsch

Brynn Kirsch is much more than her pretty face and nice body. The senior from Kansas puts in work on the court.

The Lincoln High School graduate was first team all-conference her sophomore and junior years and second team all-state her sophomore year as a high schooler. She also made the all-region team and AVCA Best and Brightest second team her senior year as well.

Her skills spoke for themselves, but so did her brain. Kirsch had academic honors with an AP Scholar Award and National Seal of Biliteracy.

Once she got to college, the good times continued to roll as she appeared in 75 sets as a libero and setter in her freshman year. She totaled 141 digs and had six 10+ dig games while recording a career-high 18 digs versus West Virginia, according to KU Athletics.

As a sophomore, she appeared in 36 sets as a defensive specialist and libero while totaling 54 digs on the season and seven assists on the season.

Brynn Kirsch, unfortunately, would not appear in a single game in 2024 as a junior.

Much of the same is happening in 2025, as the volleyball team has played 21 games and Kirsch hasn’t been seen in action.
