Caitlin Clark, Sophie Cunningham and Lexie Hull Drop 3-Word Reactions on Kelsey Mitchell’s Striking “Mouth Closed” Post. (Photo: IMAGN)
Caitlin Clark and other Indiana Fever players reacted to Kelsey Mitchell’s recent social media post. Mitchell is set to make her debut for Unrivaled next month, suiting up for Hive BC. The Fever star played in China last offseason but chose to stay stateside this time around.
In an Instagram post, Mitchell shared several images featuring herself wearing a Hive jersey. She’s set to team up with Monique Billings, Saniya Rivers, Natisha Hiedeman, Ezi Magbegor and Sonia Citron. Fever teammate Makayla Timpson, who is part of Unrivaled’s Developmental Pool, can also be seen in the post.
“eyes open. mouth closed,” Mitchell wrote.

Kelsey Mitchell’s post garnered plenty of reactions from fans, fellow WNBA players and Indiana Fever teammates. Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston, Sophie Cunningham and Lexie Hull all dropped different three-word comments.
“Let’s go kels!!!!!!” Clark wrote.
“Such a superstar,” Boston commented.
“That’s a squad,” Cunningham reacted.
“Our busy beeeeeee,” Hull quipped.

Kelsey Mitchell and Makayla Timpson are not the only Indiana Fever players who are set to play in Unrivaled’s second season. Aliyah Boston and Lexie Hull are set to return, while Aari McDonald will be making her debut. Boston was drafted by Phantom BC, Hull returns to Rose BC and McDonald will suit up for Breeze BC.
On the other hand, Caitlin Clark won’t be playing this offseason once again. Sophie Cunningham is busy growing her brand, but she signed with Project B, a new league that is set to start in late 2026.
Caitlin Clark to sign with Project B?
Sophie Cunningham wasn’t the first player to join Project B this offseason. Kelsey Mitchell has also signed with the league, joining other WNBA veterans like Nneka Ogwumike, Alyssa Thomas, Jonquel Jones and Jewell Loyd. Kamilla Cardoso and Juste Jocyte also signed with the league.
But will Caitlin Clark also sign with Project B? Clark was noncommittal during a Zoom news conference for Team USA last week.
“I plan to play in the WNBA,” Clark said, according to the Indianapolis Star. “I think more than anything, it showcases what people think of women’s basketball. All these difference (of) opportunities, all these different opportunities, all these different leagues, the platform that they want to give women’s basketball, where they think women’s basketball is going to continue to grow.”
Clark has been busy this offseason, participating in The ANNIKA pro-am golf tournament last month and returning to the court last week for Team USA.
