The Laguna Beach alum and ex-wife of former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler recently weighed in on a hot topic during an episode of her Let’s Be Honest podcast: how long women should wait before sleeping with someone they’re dating. Her honest, no-rules approach quickly went viral, sparking a wave of strong reactions online. Cavallari made it clear she believes real chemistry and connection matter far more than sticking to any set number of dates — a view that some praised as empowering and others criticized as reckless.

The former wife of retired quarterback Jay Cutler struck a nerve when she shared her opinion about how long women should wait to have s3x with a guy who they’re dating. She made the comment on her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast and the clip went viral.
A podcast listener asked Cavallari, “How many dates until you sl3ep with a guy?”
“I’ve been on this thing in the last two years, maybe, of being like, ‘You should make him wait, like, three or four dates,’” the Laguna Beach alum admitted. “I don’t think it f–king matters. It doesn’t f–king matter if you sl3ep with him on the first date or the 10th date. If there’s chemistry and feelings there, it doesn’t matter.”

She backed up her opinion by adding, “I saw this relationship coach post that 90 percent of couples who are in, like, the best relationships, where they, like, found ‘the one’ all slept together on the first or second date. So I don’t think it matters.”

Cavallari most recently made headlines after revealing the “hottest” guy she’s ever hooked up with who was former “Bachelorette” star Tyler Cameron. Cavallari didn’t give a clear timeline of when she got together with Cameron.
Cavallari was last romantically linked to comedian Jeff Dye, whom she briefly dated when she split from her ex-husband, Jay Cutler, after seven years of marriage in 2020.
The former NFL quarterback and his ex-wife share three kids: sons Camden, 11, and Jaxon, 9, and daughter Saylor, 8.
