Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple’s relationship on The Golden Bachelorette was drama-free. However, it’s been nothing but rumors and drama since the show ended. They left Bora Bora engaged, but rumors swirled this week that they secretly called off the engagement. Keep reading to find out what Joan has to say about the rumors.
Fans Fear Golden Bachelorette Relationship Over
Joan Vassos chose Chock Chapple, the insurance executive from Wichita, Kansas, as her final rose winner. He proposed with a stunning 4-carat custom Neil Lane engagement ring. Despite getting engaged a year ago, Joan and Chock live their lives separately, spending time together when they can.

The long-distance relationship is a perfect storm for rumors of a breakup. If Joan and Chock don’t post together for longer than a week, fans start to speculate. But Joan Vassos added fuel to the flames this week by ditching her engagement ring for an Instagram video.
Bachelor Nation fans are now convinced that Joan Vassos quietly ended her engagement to Chock Chapple. She broke her silence on the rumors.
Joan Vassos Breaks Silence About Chock Split Rumors
After leaving The Golden Bachelorette engaged, Joan Vassos used her reality TV fame to become a social media influencer. She rarely responds to comments or questions about her relationship with Chock Chapple.

However, she found a subtle way to address the split rumors. She took to social media to ask for recommendations for New York City. Joan Vassos revealed that she’s spending the next month in the Big Apple with Chock Chapple, firmly shutting down rumors about their relationship.
She Shares Wedding Update
While Joan Vassos seemed to confirm she’s still engaged, the couple isn’t planning to walk down the aisle any time soon. The Golden Bachelorette star recently shared an update on the wedding with the Daily Mail. She said that she was “flattered” that people were so invested in her romantic life. But a wedding isn’t on the calendar for a while yet.

‘I just got one child [Nicholas] married last summer, and then I have another one to get married this summer. So my son, my youngest [Luke] is getting married, and then I’ll probably start thinking about our wedding,” the Golden Bachelorette star explained.
“We are really happy the way we are right now. We travel and we just get to do all the fun things, and I mean, you know, marriage is meaningful. I believe in it. I just don’t think that we need to do it in any rush,” she added.
One of the “fun things” the couple recently finally got to do was visit Disney World on ABC’s dime. Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple took their families on a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth in November. Now, they’re planning on spending a month together in New York City.

“WHEN TWO COMEDIANS SIT DOWN AT A PIANO… SOMETHING ALWAYS BREAKS — AND IT’S USUALLY KORMAN.” It was supposed to be a quiet little sketch. Two pianos. Two professionals. Nothing dramatic. But the second Tim Conway glanced over with that tiny, dangerous smile… you could almost hear Korman’s soul leave his body. One wrong note. One mischievous pause.
