Josh Allen sat down for a conversation with NFL Network’s Kyle Brandt and got quite emotional talking about his wife.
In the interview, Brandt asks Allen about the movie Sinners, in which Allen’s wife, Hailee Steinfeld, stars alongside Michael B. Jordan.
It was the same movie that Sauce Gardner stated he wouldn’t go see out of respect for Allen.
The entire country was talking about the spicy scene Steinfeld had with Michael B. Jordan, something Allen eventually broke his silence on.
Brandt posted a clip on Wednesday morning saying it’s the “happiest and most candid” he’s ever seen Allen.
The Buffalo quarterback said that Sinners was an A+ movie and was incredibly complimentary of his wife.
“My wife absolutely kills it,” Josh Allen told Brandt. “And hopefully, awards season coming around, people make the right decisions.”
The Buffalo Bills quarterback certainly wore his heart on his sleeve as things took an emotional turn.
Brandt left the movie theater after watching Sinners and thought, “The NFL MVP is the second most talented person in his own marriage. Is that a crazy hot take?” He revealed this before asking the MVP quarterback if he agreed with that take.
“Absolutely not,” the Bills QB stated. “One thousand percent, and I’m okay with it.”
When he saw it at the premiere, Josh Allen recalled his heavy emotions.
“When we watched it at the premiere, I was crying at the end,” he admitted.
“I was just so proud of her. I get emotional thinking about it, but it was a pretty cool experience.”
“I can tell you’re getting emotional,” Brandt said. “You’re welling up already.”

Josh Allen won his first NFL Most Valuable Player award for the 2024 season. He narrowly beat Lamar Jackson by receiving 27 first-place votes to Jackson’s 23.
Despite his great season, he still couldn’t reach his ultimate goal of playing in the Super Bowl.
Allen has a career record of 7-6 in the playoffs. Four of those losses were to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
He has led the Buffalo Bills to multiple playoff appearances and one AFC Championship game appearance, but has yet to reach the Super Bowl.
His ultimate goal is to make it through the AFC’s gauntlet and reach the big game, which would at least give him the opportunity to play for the Lombardi Trophy.
Josh Allen acknowledges this goal and is working on refining his game to lead his team to a championship.
