Joy Taylor is no longer on daytime programming, so she can now give her unfiltered opinions about things surrounding sports.

NFL fans have voiced their outrage after discovering that several NFL teams have male cheerleaders ahead of the upcoming season.

The Minnesota Vikings added two male cheerleaders for 2025: Blaize Shiek and Louie Conn.

While many praised the move as a step forward for inclusivity and representation in the NFL, others expressed frustration, with some even threatening to cancel season tickets or boycott the team.

That led to other fan bases finding out that their own teams also employed male cheerleaders as well.

This entire thing is comical to Joy Taylor.

The former Fox Sports host took to her Instagram story this week and reposted the story about the outrage over the Vikings having male cheerleaders.

The article read, “NFL teams face backlash over male cheerleaders.”

In response, Joy Taylor wrote, “So teaching kids slavery was not a big deal is acceptable, but male cheerleaders is where ‘conservatives’ draw the line,” as she added laughing emojis.

Taylor continued: “Also, this isn’t new, so as usual, outrage over nothing.”

Joy Taylor Remains Unemployed

Joy Taylor’s tenure at Fox Sports 1 ended after nearly a decade of appearances on the network’s top shows.

Taylor started her career at FS1 as a moderator for “Undisputed” with Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe before being named co-host of “The Herd” with Colin Cowherd.

She would eventually work her way to getting her own show, “Speak.”

Unfortunately for her, Taylor was accused of having inappropriate relationships with an executive and on-air personality at Fox Sports. This ultimately led to her show being canceled and her losing her job.

She likely knew the writing was on the wall, which is why she began doing her podcast again.
