A lot has been said about Bad Bunny out of the White House. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt criticized the singer’s “ICE out” comments he made during the Grammys. President Donald Trump has taken many shots at him before and after his performance.

Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show included guest performances from Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin, along with cameos from the likes of Pedro Pascal, Cardi B, Karol G, and Jessica Alba. The 31-year-old made history by becoming the first musician to perform entirely in Spanish at a Super Bowl. He did choose to say one line in English, “God bless America”, before listing the nations of Central, South, and North America as dancers carried their flags.

Despite that, President Donald Trump called Bad Bunny’s set “absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER!” on his social media platform Truth Social. He had the chance to watch the alternative Halftime show, but still chose to watch the NFL version.

Amid the backlash, Karoline Leavitt found herself on the receiving end of online mockery. She has no one to blame but herself.

Karoline Leavitt Seems To Be A Fan of Bad Bunny

Bad Bunny performed during the 2026 Super Bowl Apple Music Halftime Show. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt publicly bashed him as the performer. It seems that she has always been a fan.

Online users discovered that she sampled one of his songs on an Instagram post in December 2025. On New Year’s Eve, Leavitt posted an Instagram compilation of her top moments of 2025. She set it to a music mashup that includes one of the most popular songs of 31-year-old rapper Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, “DtMF.”

Fans didn’t miss the track near the top of her Instagram Reel.

“Bad Bunny playing for the recap is the funniest sh-t I’ve seen so far this year. And we’re only 19 days in 🤣 she lowkey loves him like the rest of us 🤣,” one fan said.

“I find it so ironic that all the musicians that are singing in this clip, don’t stand with her. They hate her,” a second person wrote.

“Not her using bad bunny on her stuff 😂😂😂😂,” a third person pointed out.

“Please don’t use @badbunnypr music 🤡🤡🤡🤡,” a fourth person demanded.

“You can’t talk sh-t about Bad Bunny, then use his song at the beginning of this bullsh-t,” one final person commented.

Leavitt has repeatedly criticized Bad Bunny over his public statements and performances. Using his music seems to be counterproductive and a stark contrast to how she really feels about him.

His show averaged 128.2 million viewers, making it the fourth-most-watched halftime of all time, per Variety. In the end, the hate did not work.
